Our Services
SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING
Supported Independent Living is best suited to those who want to live independently but need support with tasks during the day.
In a Supported Independent Living home, you can expect to receive support with personal care, build daily life skills like cooking, cleaning and developing a routine.
You can receive help to actionbehaviour support plans you may have. Supported Independent Living is a great way to help develop social skills.
You can also receive help with medication, help with medical appointments or any other activities you need to undertake for your daily routine.
Every disabled individual has different needs and requires different types of assistance. We at Fortune Care are aware of the challenges that our elderly clients and NDIS participants face when performing daily tasks. With a team of professional and compassionate support workers, we are one of Adelaide’s most reputable registered NDIS service providers. Our NDIS assistance with household tasks service includes wiping appliances and tabletops, dusting furniture, vacuuming, cleaning the refrigerator, sweeping the floor, dishwashing, ironing, doing laundry, changing linen, and other household duties. If you apply for the NDIS, our team can assist you in making the most of your NDIS-funded activities.
Our goal is for participants to be able to manage their daily tasks around the house on their own and with minimal assistance. This includes meals, personal care, medication, and transportation to appointments—all while allowing you to maintain your independence.
This type of service allows you to spend time with other disabled people who share your interests. Socialise with your friends and family, participate in activities, spend time with your pets, and enjoy your favourite meals.
Even simple tasks like cooking and cleaning can be difficult for someone with a disability. If their conditions make it difficult for them to perform household tasks efficiently, our NDIS support plan will most likely include all types of household task services.
